Printing Different Formats of Reports

Published On: 26-Feb-2019

In this article, we'll be discussing the formats used in the DOP Agent Software, and how you can change these formats to suit your needs. As you might know by now, the applications prints two types of reports; Balance report, and the original report. We'll be discussing how you can change between these types, and how you can print the schedules you've already made, once again. We'll also discuss how to modify the default printer.

So, let's figure out how we can do all this in the DOP Agent Software.

  • Firstly, let's discuss the print format. You can find the print format option easily on the left-hand side. By default, there is Original Fit to 1 page choice in this, using which, you can get the original report.
  • If you want the report with added balance, you can select the Add Balance Column option. With this option, you have the convenience of having the name of the agency owner, the individual balance from all the payment installments, all the rebate and default charges, and similar information. Another convenient feature of this option is that you can get multiple passbooks printed on one page, saving your paper.

Now, sometimes, you may want to reprint the schedules you have already saved. If you're wondering whether you can do that or not, the answer is yes. You can do that. Let's see how!

  • To reprint the already saved schedules, you can click on the Re-print Reports option, and all the previously saved reports will show up on the screen.
  • You will notice that each statement is saved twice, with slightly varying sizes. It is because, along with the original, more comprehensive report, there's also a compressed report which you can use for reprinting.
  • In the compressed statement, all the blank space goes away, and that's why it is lighter. If you want to print the schedule again, the lighter version is more suitable, but you can choose either one.

Sometimes, when you're trying to print a statement, if you realize that the print is not coming out, the reason can be related to your printer. Here's what you can do to ensure that it has nothing to do with the printer, and even if that's the case, what you need to do.

  • Check to see if there's any paper stuck in the printer. It is a common problem, and you need to remove the stuck paper to get the print.
  • If that's not the case, it may be because the default printer is not the same one you're using for the print.
  • Search for printer in the Search programs and files box by clicking on the windows icon, and choose the printers and scanners option. Check to see if the printer you're trying to use is the default printer or not.
  • If it's not the default printer, you can change it to default by right-clicking on it and choosing the set as a default printer option.
  • Check the printer beforehand, and you can avoid the reprint option by printing the schedule on the first go.
